Meet Lauren

Life has taken my husband, James and me to more than one place to call home. DC and NYC is where we started our careers! Today we live among the rolling hills and horse farms of NJ, where we have two kids who we lovingly refer to as “beasties.” My Georgiana, only 7, is more logical than most adults I know, myself included. Tristan is as “boy” as boy’s come, and a comedian in training. They certainly keep things interesting, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
While I have spent over 15 years photographing babies, families, weddings and other events, I decided that I wanted to focus on the aspect of photography I love best: weddings. I love getting to know my couples on their journey to becoming husband and wife, and being a part of all the joys that the wedding day brings. While local weddings are some of my favorites, my team loves day trips to the city, tropical adventures, and European travels!
I believe that choosing a wedding photographer is a deeply personal choice – finding someone that clicks with you as a person and friend is just as important as being able to create unique photos that define you as a couple. I pride myself on being able to give every client an experience that keeps wedding planning organized, communication constant, and the wedding day truly the best day of your life!

Chocolate and Cof

Really the only "foods" I need for survival.
While I try to maintain a healthy diet, mostly to keep up my energy for weddings, these are the foods that maintain my creative focus!

Young Bride

I’ve known my husband for half my life. We got married the week I turned 18, lived in Georgetown, NYC and now live in the town I grew up in.

My Philosophy

My photography philosophy is simple: classic portraiture mixed with candid moments and real emotions that make photographs generations to come will cherish.

Film Lover

I started photographing weddings during college. I landed a job with a Princeton photographer, one of the last photographing weddings entirely in film. The experience paired well with my “fine art” photo background, and helped kick-off a lifelong passion.

Reading

"Reading" is often times "Audio-booking" so I can edit or drive and still enjoy a good novel!
All-time favorite book: Pride and Prejudice

Picture Addict

Having a job that’s also your hobby can be a problem – sometimes my husband stages an intervention and makes me go on vacation…but I always bring my camera!

Lover of Light

What’s the most important thing in photography? Glad you asked. It’s light. I see everything in terms of quality of light, even when I’m not looking through
a camera.
