Meet Lauren

Life has taken my husband, James and me to more than one place to call home. DC and NYC is where we started our careers! But much to my amazement, we have landed back in New Jersey. Today we live among the rolling hills and horse farms of NJ, where we have two kids who we lovingly refer to as “beasties.” My Georgiana, only 7, is more logical than most adults I know, myself included. Tristan is as “boy” as boy’s come, and a comedian in training. They certainly keep things interesting, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I always thought I would end up far from New Jersey, but truth be told, NJ offers some of the best wedding venues in the country. While local weddings are some of my favorites, if local is not the destination for your big day, not to worry – my team loves day trips to the city, tropical adventures, and European travels! I believe that choosing a wedding photographer is a deeply personal choice – finding someone that clicks with you as a person and friend is just as important as being able to create unique photos that define you as a couple. I pride myself on being able to give every client an experience that keeps wedding planning organized, communication constant, and the wedding day truly the best day of your life!

Chocolate and Cof

Really the only "foods" I need for survival.
While I try to maintain a healthy diet, mostly to keep up my energy for weddings, these are the foods that maintain my creative focus!

High School Sweetheart

I’m married to my boyfriend from high school - he works in NYC (I have no idea what he does), and we have two kids, who we lovingly refer to as "beasties." Georgiana is 7 and Tristan is 5.

My Philosophy

My photography philosophy is simple: classic portraiture mixed with candid moments and real emotions that make photographs generations to come will cherish.

But the only flowers I can keep alive are orchids.

Film Lover

I started photographing weddings during college. I landed a job with a Princeton photographer, one of the last photographing weddings entirely in film. The experience paired well with my “fine art” photo background, and helped kick-off a lifelong passion.

Pride and Prejudice

Favorite book: Pride and Prejudice (also my favorite movie – most particularly the BBC version with Colin Firth).

Picture Addict

Having a job that’s also your hobby can be a problem – sometimes my husband stages an intervention and makes me go on vacation…without my camera. But I still have my iPhone!

Natural Light Lover

What’s the most important thing in photography? Glad you asked. It’s light. I see everything in terms of light, even when I’m not looking through a camera.
