Happy 1/2 Anniversary to my summer wedding couple, Mike & Sherri! In the cold of winter, I love reminiscing about the warmth and sunshine of the summer days. Mike and Sherri's wedding was definitely one of those warm and sunshiny days, but also had a lot of moodiness mixed in there thanks to the awesome setting at the Cork Factory in Lancaster, PA. We drove for miles through farmland and finally arrived at this busy little town of Lancaster where the Cork Factory resides. With it's brick facade and winding staircase, we did plenty of shuffling around from one location to the next.
Once we got all of their family portraits, bridal party pictures and pictures of the bride and groom (alone!) it was on to the ceremony. The aisle was lit with candles, and the walls and vaulted ceiling echoed the warmth of the candles with their wooden beams. What a sight! This room also served as the reception area for dining and dancing. I even got to be part of the party! My husband and Mike met after college, at their first job. Their relationship was a special one...they even co-owned pet frogs. I think Sherri is a much better fit for Mike.
Once I finished up portraits and ceremony, Barbara Wentzel and Kelly Joyce took over. I put my camera down and hit the dance floor! Best of both worlds! Thanks for letting me be part of your day in so many ways, Mike & Sherri!
